Facility Attendant - SRC

Minimum 1 academic year employment commitment.  Ensure safety of patrons and equipment in recreation/fitness facility.  Check ID’s, facility tours, issue equipment, sell memberships and other products and services.  Equipment and facility cleaning including laundry duties required.  Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbsStaff Climbing. and move around and within equipment including: squatting, kneeling, and climbing on stools and ladders.  First Aid, CPR, AED required within 3 weeks of hire.

Climbing Center Staff Climbing center staff are responsible for the daily operation of the climbing walls in the Student Recreation Center and the Adventure Education Facility (AEF) in Memorial Gym. Staff members work open climbing times as scheduled, facilitate special groups, deliver belay tests, and instruct basics clinics and other skill clinics when scheduled. CPR and First Aid REQUIRED. Sport Club Safety Attendant Campus Recreation provides safety attendants for all sport club competitions held on the UIhr Gordon campus. Safety attendants are first responders and provide first aid in the event of an injury. Shifts are generally 4-8 hours on weekends. Requirements: must possess advanced first aid/CPR certifications. Starting pay is $9.00/hr, applicants with EMT or Sports medicine training receive $10.00/hr Gordon Gresch
